Doug saved me from making a $6,324.00 mistake!
I was negotiating with the local newspaper to do a postcard campaign to renters when I purchased Doug's marketing materials. This was the most I'd ever paid for any training materials, and frankly I was both hopeful and skeptical. In absorbing Doug's material, one thing he stressed was that advertising that had no specific appeal or call to action to the intended recipient was wasted.
In the meantime, the newspaper came back with their proposal at a cost of $6,324.00. I am now in the process of re-working the postcard to incorporate Doug's principles. I actually knew some of these principles from my own experience, but for some reason, I was about to go to sleep at the switch on this deal.
Another very important change I will make is that my campaign will now have a point!--generating leads. What a concept, a mailing campaign aimed at making money, not improving my "image".
